Kia J. Dunn

Kia J. Dunn is a creative enthusiast from LaGrange, NC. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater from the University of North Carolina-Pembroke. Her love of performance began at a young age with both sides of her family being singers or instrumentalists. She sings and plays piano for her home church, Word of Faith Temple, in Kinston, NC. In 2021, she taught music to grades 3-5 in Scotland County and after some time there, made the switch to assisting in the classroom in 2023. She has sung with other choirs in Laurinburg and Southern Pines, NC, and is so glad to be amongst her peers with the Deep River Singers! She thanks God for granting her these many talents, and also wants to thank her fiancé, Nathan Gavin, her family, and friends for always being a constant support!
